IWFM and DCE jointly organized a shortcourse on "Conservation of Riverine Ecosystems under Changing Environment" from 2nd April to 5th April, 2011. IWFM and CEGIS organized a Training of Trainers (ToT) on "IWRM Concept and Its Practices" in association with BWP from 27th November to 2nd December, 2010. A Regional collaborative research project on "Water Security in Peri-Urban South Asia: Adapting to Climate Change and Urbanization" has been launched at the Institute of Water and Flood Management (IWFM) of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) on 12 July 2010.Read more... South Asia Regional Training of SAWA Fellows on "Interdisciplinary Research in Water Resources Management" was held on 24 August - 06 September, 2010. Workshop on "IWRM Concepts and Principles: Capacity strengthening of Water and Environmental Academicians of public and private universities" was held on 5-6 July, 2010. Training Program on "Flood Hazard Mapping and Socioeconomic Vulnerability" was organized by the Institute of Water and Flood Management (IWFM) of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, (BUET) and The International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development, ICIMOD in association with Southampton University, United Kingdom and Centre for Geoinformatics, Z_GIS, University of Salzburg, Austria on 27th April -1st May, 2010. Workshop on "Interdisciplinary Education in Water Resources Management in South Asia" was held on 17th April, 2010. Short Course on "Risk Management" was held on March 13-14, 2010 Workshop on "Regional Climate Modeling using PRECIS" was held on 14-18 February, 2010.
