The Institute maintains a library covering books, reports, journals, etc. in Water Resources and other related fields. At present the library has over 2800 volumes. The Institute receives the following journals on regular basis: Hydrological Sciences Journal of International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS) and Irrigation and Drainage Journal of International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage (ICID). Notably, the Institute acts as the repository in Bangladesh of all IAHS publications.
